Public Voting Terms and Conditions

About the Voting Service

  1. These terms and conditions govern the relationship between you and Fourth Wall Events Pty Limited (“Fourth Wall”) in respect of use of the voting service (“Voting Service”) for the 64th TV WEEK Logie Awards 2024 (“Awards”) (“Terms and Conditions”). Using the voting service is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Information on ‘How to Vote’ made available by media outlets participating in the Awards and otherwise published by the voting service manager Fourth Wall forms part of these Terms and Conditions. The Voting Service is controlled by Tectonic Interactive Limited (“Tectonic”).
  3. Award nominees (“Award Nominees”) have been selected for each Category by a rigorous judging process managed by Fourth Wall. Award Nominees have participated in or consist of programs that first aired on the submitting broadcaster’s service in Australia during the period 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024, on a free-to-air television network, subscription television service or streaming service. Award Nominees will compete to be a winner in each category of the Awards.
  4. Voting is open to all residents of Australia who are 15 years or over at the time of voting.
  5. Voting on the Voting Service is only available to individuals using an Australian IP address.
  6. Fourth Wall reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel voting for the Awards at any time for any reason.

Voting Period

  1. Votes may be cast from 18:00 AEST Sunday 23 June 2024 until 19:00 AEST Saturday 17 August 2024 except for the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter and Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent for which votes may be cast until 19:30 AEST Sunday 18 August 2024 and the TV WEEK GOLD LOGIE for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television Award for which votes may be cast until 22:30 AEST Sunday 18 August 2024 (“Voting Period”).
  2. The Voting Period is subject to change, as notified at Fourth Wall’s discretion.
  3. It is the responsibility of each voter to ensure they lodge their vote within the Voting Period.

  1. The Award Categories are:

    1. TV WEEK GOLD LOGIE – Most Popular Personality on Australian Television
    2. Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter
    3. Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent
    4. TV WEEK SILVER LOGIE – Best Lead Actor in a Drama
    5. TV WEEK SILVER LOGIE – Best Lead Actress in a Drama
    6. TV WEEK SILVER LOGIE – Best Lead Actor in a Comedy
    7. TV WEEK SILVER LOGIE – Best Lead Actress in a Comedy
    8. TV WEEK SILVER LOGIE – Best Supporting Actor
    9. TV WEEK SILVER LOGIE – Best Supporting Actress
    10. TV WEEK SILVER LOGIE – Best News or Public Affairs Presenter
    11. Best Drama Program
    12. Best Miniseries or Telemovie
    13. Best Entertainment Program
    14. Best Current Affairs Program
    15. Best Scripted Comedy Program
    16. Best Comedy Entertainment Program
    17. Best Competition Reality Program
    18. Best Structured Reality Program
    19. Best Lifestyle Program
    20. Best News Coverage or Public Affairs Report
    21. Best Factual or Documentary Program
    22. Best Sports Coverage
    23. Best Children’s Program

Maximum Number of Votes

  1. Voters may cast one vote in each of the Award Categories for one of the available Award Nominees for that Category.

Voting Mechanics

  1. Voters may cast a vote by:
    1. Visiting the Awards Website; (TVWEEKLogies.com.au)
    2. Selecting a chosen Award Nominee in the Award Category or Award Categories;
    3. Registering the vote/s by providing all required personal details (first name, last name, date of birth, email address, mobile number and postcode); and
    4. Clicking on the verification email sent to the provided email address to submit the vote/s.
      Votes will only be submitted if all steps set out in this clause 12 are completed.
  2. Fourth Wall, Tectonic and their agents and contractors engaged in relation to the Voting Service ("Related Parties") accept no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected votes due to technical disruptions, network congestion, network failures or for any other reason.
  3. Fourth Wall, Tectonic and the Related Parties are not responsible for any technical faults, defects or other issues that result in the failure of the functionality described above being properly executed on the Voting Service on the Awards Website.
  4. Fourth Wall, Tectonic and the Related Parties will not accept responsibility for any attempted votes received outside of the Voting Period.

Voting Results

  1. Fourth Wall, Tectonic and the Related Parties reserve the right to keep all voting results confidential.
  2. Fourth Wall and the Related Parties reserve the right at their discretion to invalidate, discount or disqualify any votes (or individuals lodging votes) that they believe:
    1. tamper with, or attempt to tamper with, the Voting Service and/or process;
    2. corrupt or impact, or attempt to corrupt or impact, the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of any of the Program, the Voting Service and/or the process;
    3. may have been submitted via an automated process or any other mechanical or electronic means that permit the user to automatically vote repeatedly, including but not limited to computer modems, programs, scripts or any other means other than the Voting Service specified in these Terms and Conditions; or
    4. were lodged in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Fourth Wall’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from disqualified individuals are reserved.
  4. In the event there is a tied result in an Award Category, the Award Nominee who received the equal highest vote first is deemed the winner. If the Award Nominee to first receive the equal highest vote is not able to be determined, Fourth Wall will exercise a casting vote at its discretion.
  5. Award Categories and/or Award Nominees may be withdrawn or disqualified from the Awards at any time. Should any Award Categories and/or Award Nominees be withdrawn or disqualified or are otherwise unable to participate in the Awards for any reason, any votes for that Award Category or Award Nominee will cease to apply.
  6. If for any reason the Voting Service is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Fourth Wall, Tectonic or the Related Parties, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Voting Service, Fourth Wall reserves the right to take any action that may be available to reach a final voting result from any and all legitimate voting data available.

General Terms

  1. All votes lodged using the Voting Service become the property of Fourth Wall.
  2. Voters may incur data and/or internet charges through their telecommunications or internet service provider as a result of accessing the Awards Website. Any such charges are the responsibility of the voter.
  3. By registering to vote, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), other applicable privacy laws and Fourth Wall's Privacy Policy (fourthwall.com.au/privacy).
  4. Except for liability that cannot be excluded by law, Fourth Wall (including its officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability for personal injury, loss and damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of any individual’s use of the Voting Service, including arising from any change to the scheduling of the Voting Service or broadcast times of any part of the Awards (scheduled or unscheduled), or any error, interruption, fault, delay or other defect or failure related to any telecommunications line or network.
  5. Fourth Wall reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time throughout the Voting Period and the Awards.
  6. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia.
